This course will be of interest to any physiotherapist who wishes to be involved in Medico-Legal work.  This introductory day will involve legal systems, civil and criminal, difference between Causation & Liability and Quantum, Part 35 of C.P.R. and legal aspects of physiotherapy report writing such as ‘The role of an expert in the context of access to justice’ and ‘Being a medico-legal expert’. There will also be specific lectures on how to write a Catastrophic Injury Quantum report and Musculoskeletal Quantum and Causation & Liability reports.
