With the introduction of GDPR fast approaching the MLACP have listed a few resources that you may find useful.

The ICO have put together information to outline the changes and your responsibilities if working in health care.

Paul Davidson from Tridena presented at our Winter Conference and is offering a training day on GDPR, follow the link. In addition, Tridena offer a ‘toolkit’ of template documents to support you in becoming GDPR compliant. Purchase of the toolkit includes a one-hour telephone consultation to get you started with the audit and assessment exercise and to offer advice as you go. Please see the attached PDF.

The series of webinars from Blue-Zinc will consist of 3 x 60 minute webinars aimed to help clinic owners/practitioners etc understand the basics of GDPR and how it will affect everyday life within clinics. We advise that all 3 webinars are viewed in order to gain a complete understanding of the regulation. It will give some clinical examples throughout the webinars which is aimed to help you on your journey to compliance.

Dates: Monday 9th, Friday 13th and Wednesday 18th April
Time: 1-2pm
Cost: £20 for the series (all 3 webinars)

Each webinar will be recorded and will be sent to everyone who has registered and paid for the series. This means that if you aren’t able to watch the broadcasts live you will be given a recording enabling you to watch them at a more convenient time and as many additional times as you feel necessary. You will also receive a copy of the slides from each webinar along with a checklist containing some ICO guidance on certain GDPR aspects.
